Hello community! I am happy to once again share with everyone my experiences with coffee, and like any good lover of this beverage, I am always looking for something new that I can taste and recommend.

Usually, when someone visits a coffee shop they get the idea of asking for coffee traditionally, the one that is served in a porcelain cup and has an optimal temperature that helps the aroma of this delicious beverage to take over the whole place. This is fine, but you can also dare to try other delicacies that can be prepared with this glorious beverage.

A good coffee shop has to have an attentive staff but also a coffee connoisseur and this is the case of my favorite coffee shop. This place has a barista who is a genius. His name is David, and he is passionate about what he does. He enjoys making magic with coffee. His job is to create mind-blowing combinations to the palate and he has developed an extensive menu of delicacies that customers can enjoy exalting the goodness of coffee in an unparalleled way.

Today, I tried a delicious "French Winter". I find it hard to define because it looks like a dessert but when you are about to finish it seems like a cold drink. The truth is that it is very tasty.

The "French Winter" is made with almond liqueur (Amaretto), espresso coffee, ice cream with pieces of cookies, whipped cream, nuts, and sighs. Its presentation is quite a spectacle since the sighs look like the face of a snowman, an emblematic character of the winter season.

When you start eating this delight, the combination of textures between the whipped cream, ice cream, and the crunchiness of the nuts and sighs causes an explosion of sensation, but the best part is at the bottom, when you drag the ice cream with the espresso and amaretto with the spoon, it is a magical combination that you can't stop eating.

When you are finishing, part of the ice cream has already melted and mixed with the amaretto and coffee, making it a cold drink that forces you to tilt the glass as much as you can to enjoy every last drop.

I loved this interpretation of this creative barista, and I agree with him that this is what a French winter is like cold, sweet, with intense aromas and dried fruits that remind us that we are at Christmas time!
