Las preguntas que me resultaron muy interesantes y curiosas, fue una experiencia diferente y enriquecedora. Me gusto mucho, me di cuenta de varias cosas y fue agradable abordar temas de los que no suelo hablar, fue raro pero en el buen sentido. Hi, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I want to share with you my participation in a challenge created by @crearte, which I thought was great. The questions I found very interesting and curious, it was a different and enriching experience. I liked it a lot, I realized several things and it was nice to address issues that I don't usually talk about, it was weird but in a good way. ¿Crees que la creatividad se hereda o se adquiere?
En definitiva, no creo la creatividad sea hereditaria y la razón es muy simple. Voy a explicarlo de la siguiente manera, tomando en cuenta ciertas bases teóricas y luego, netamente mi opinión. Si vamos a la parte teórica y tomamos en cuenta lo que es la genética, decir que la creatividad es hereditaria… No tendría sentido porque, en resumidas cuentas, los genes se encargan de transmitir información como: color de ojos, tipo de cabello, alguna enfermedad y cosas por el estilo.
Do you think creativity is inherited or acquired?
In short, I do not believe that creativity is hereditary and the reason is very simple. I am going to explain it in the following way, taking into account certain theoretical bases and then, purely my opinion. If we go to the theoretical part and take into account what genetics is, to say that creativity is hereditary... It would not make sense because, in short, genes are in charge of transmitting information such as: eye color, hair type, some disease and things like that.
Desde mi punto de vista, si la creatividad fuera hereditaria… Se reflejaría a nivel social porque algunas personas, tomarían este factor en cuenta al momento de relacionarse y/o reproducirse. Además, las familias serían catalogadas de manera completamente diferente y no solo esto. Creo que incluso implicaría cambios, en la manera en la que ven a cada miembro del núcleo familiar, porque parte de sus capacidades estarían determinadas por factores genéticos, que trascenderían las características físicas.
From my point of view, if creativity were hereditary... It would be reflected at a social level because some people would take this factor into account when relating and/or reproducing. In addition, families would be catalogued in a completely different way and not only this. I think it would even imply changes in the way they see each member of the family nucleus, because part of their capabilities would be determined by genetic factors, which would transcend physical characteristics.
Cada familia cuenta con información genética diferente pero también es cierto, que no todos los miembros heredan las mismas características. Es algo que varía según la generación, los genes dominantes y recesivos. Además, es importante tomar en cuenta que, usualmente los seres humanos nacen a partir de la combinación, de los genes de progenitores de familias distintas… El típico 50/50.

El ser humano fue diseñado con la capacidad de ser creativo, la cosa está en que no todos desarrollamos y fortalecemos la creatividad de la misma manera. Vemos las cosas de forma diferente y esto tiene una alta influencia, en lo que decidimos trabajar o no. La creatividad no es algo que crece por sí solo, suele partir de un estímulo que puede o no ser atendido, cuidado y alimentado.
The human being was designed with the capacity to be creative, the thing is that not all of us develop and strengthen creativity in the same way. We see things differently and this has a high influence on what we decide to work on or not. Creativity is not something that grows by itself, it usually starts from a stimulus that may or may not be attended, cared for and nurtured.
Y es que si hablamos del cuerpo humano, es bien sabido que a nivel cerebral, cada hemisferio se encarga de cosas diferentes por lo que... Dependiendo de cuál sea nuestro hemisferio dominante, puede que haya mayor o menor “presencia” de creatividad.
And if we talk about the human body, it is well known that at brain level, each hemisphere is responsible for different things, so... Depending on which is our dominant hemisphere, there may be more or less "presence" of creativity.
Para no irme muy lejos, mi hemisferio dominante es el derecho... Si, el hemisferio que se caracteriza por la creatividad y toda la parte artística, entre otras funciones y/o habilidades (por supuesto). Yo estoy muy familiarizada con el proceso creativo, es algo que forma parte de mi día a día. Mi manera de ver y comprender las cosas, está altamente influenciado por la creatividad.
Not to go too far away, my dominant hemisphere is the right one... Yes, the hemisphere that is characterized by creativity and all the artistic part, among other functions and/or abilities (of course). I am very familiar with the creative process, it is something that is part of my daily life. My way of seeing and understanding things is highly influenced by creativity.
Cuéntenos ¿Cómo empezó su talento y su pasión?
Basándome en mis recuerdos, no sabría decir cómo empezó porque fue desde una edad muy temprana, incluso antes de lo que me acuerdo. Por lo que empezaré hablándoles de una anécdota, que mi mamá solía contar. Cuando tenía unos 4 o 5 años, estábamos en un centro comercial y en aquel entonces hacían competencias de baile para niños, todo a modo de entretenimiento. Yo no lo pensaba dos veces y bailaba en frente de un montón de personas, nada pena y sin medio al éxito. Me desenvolvía super bien y me gustaba muchísimo, no perdía la oportunidad de participar en esa clase de actividades y lo hacía con todo el gusto, el ánimo, la energía, la felicidad… En fin, todo chévere.
Tell u show your talent and passion began?
Based on my memories, I wouldn't know how it started because it was from a very early age, even earlier than I remember. So I'll start by telling you an anecdote, which my mom used to tell. When I was about 4 or 5 years years old, we were in a shopping mall and back then they had dance competitions for kids, all for entertainment. I didn't think twice and danced in front of a lot of people, no shame and no fear to success. I was very good and I liked it very much, I did not miss the opportunity to participate in that kind of activities and I did it with all the pleasure, the spirit, the energy, the happiness... In short, everything was great.
A mí siempre me ha encantado bailar y me parece que es un lenguaje maravilloso, es algo que te permite expresar sin necesidad de pensar. Es muy liberador y para mí, es lo más cercano a la libertad que existe. Siento que puedo ser yo misma cuando bailo, dejando fluir todos lo que hay dentro de mí, mediante cada movimiento. En definitiva, no hay nada que me apasione como esto y creo que se nota. Yo amo el baile, de todo corazón y es tan hermoso, como difícil para mí hablar de esto. Es un tema muy complicado en mi vida, porque tengo muchas limitaciones físicas y debido a esto, no es algo que pueda realizar como ni cuando yo quiera.
I have always loved dancing and I think it is a wonderful language, it is something that allows you to express yourself without having to think. It is very liberating and for me, it is the closest thing to freedom that exists. I feel that I can be myself when I dance, letting all that is inside me flow through each movement. Ultimately, there is nothing I am as passionate about as this and I think it shows. I love dance, with all my heart and it is so beautiful, as difficult for me to talk about it. It is a very complicated subject in my life, because I have many physical limitations and because of this, it is not something I can do as and when I want.
Es un tema muy delicado y dudé un poco en si hacer el post o no, porque si bien me llamó la atención… No sabía si estaba lista para responder esta pregunta, porque la respuesta desborda cientos de sentimientos encontrados, son cosas profundas y muy difíciles pero siento que en parte me hizo bien. No creo que haya tenido un efecto negativo hablar de esto pero me costó, lo admito.
It is a very delicate subject and I hesitated a little on whether to make the post or not, because although it caught my attention... I did not know if I was ready to answer this question, because the answer overflows hundreds of mixed feelings, they are deep and very difficult things but I feel that in part it did me good. I don't think it had a negative effect, talking about this but it was hard, I admit it.
