Imagine you having ultimate power to do what you want, you can make any law in
any country.
Now you have ultimate power, what will you do. Are you trying to do good?
You might be able to do a lot of good, but for how long? Will everybody think
that what you are doing is good? You might construct the society you want but it
might not be what everybody else wants. You might be a very unpopular person.
However my point is not so much whether or not you will be unpopular or what you
will do with such power, even though that is a very important thing as well, I
am more concerned with another question that might not be the first thing you
think of in relation to this thought experiment, please do consider it.
Will you be able to give up this power once you have gotten it?
This is what I am concerned about, if somebody got this much power is there any
way to do some good but give up the power before you become corrupted by it?
