I wonder how many people on December 31st 2019 just before Midnight said "You know what, I bet in 2020 Australia Burns, the UK floods, Norway has landslides, Mumbai has a cyclone, Louisiana is evacuated from a tropical storm also Texas and Alabama affected, Kenya Floods, Taal Volcano Eruption, Brown New Zealand Glaciers caused by Australia Burning, Vegetation in the Himalayas causes ice banks to melt and..floods, Floods in Dubai, Floods in Indonesia....
Oh and there was a global pandemic caused by a virus called COVID19
And that's not the full exhaustive list of Biblical events that have occurred in 2020 - and we are only six months into the year! And while the climate of our planet can have a big impact on our lives, it is insignificant compared to how all our lives have now changed because of a tiny Coronavirus.
Face masks are the new normal, while in the UK since 20th March coffee shops, pubs, hotels, leisure centres, hotels - the entire hospitality industry was forced to closed - and that not only affects them but everyone that supplies them...like me!
I might be getting in early with #2020memories - but I think this will be a year that goes down in history, to be remembered by whoever actually makes it to 2021 - I'm not super confident myself it's not Coronavirus I worry about more the 24/7 workathon my life has turned into.
But maybe, just maybe it won't be as bad as we thought. Share your #2020memories past, present and future and let's see how the world is dealing with the challenges it is being set with.
