The rain has brought out all sorts of fungi in my area. Everywhere you look, there are different types of mushrooms popping up all over the place.
One tree near the village pond has been taken over by fungi. It's quite a sight.
Usually, there are a few mushrooms growing at the base of the tree, but this year, they have multiplied and have travelled up the tree. It's become a talking point around the village.
There are fly agarics, ink caps, velvet shanks, puff balls, and more!
Some look as though they've come straight out of the supermarket. I've never seen so many different types of mushrooms in one place before.
It's interesting to see how they all thrive in their own little ecosystem. The rain has definitely been good for the fungi this year.
Hopefully, there may be even more coming through.
