The rain in the first week of June sparked my interest in going on a mushroom walk in the forest near Alue Lim village at that time. Yes, there is a forest spot that is still quite dense and has great potential for hunting wild mushrooms. These are some of the mushrooms found there.
The golden-gilled Gerronema (Gerronema strombodes) was the first type of mushroom I found there. On fallen trees, the mushrooms grow in clusters.
The rays of soft sunlight penetrating the canopy of the trees make the mushrooms feel alive, especially when seen through their gills.
Even in the same forest, I still found the hairy trumpet fungus (Panus fasciatus). Not as many as the golden-gilled Gerronema; I only found three hairy trumpets there.
This is a kind of fungus with a rough texture, and it lasts quite a long time even if it is exposed to the sun for days.
Finally, it really rained for the last few days. It looks like hunting for mushrooms the next Sunday will certainly be fun.
