I've realized that one of the hardest things about growing up is learning not to compare yourself to everyone else.
It's easy to look around and think that other people are already ahead. Some are in college, some already have jobs, and some seem to have their entire future planned out.
Meanwhile, I'm still building mine.
But I've started to understand that every person has a different timeline. Just because my path looks different doesn't mean it's wrong.
I still dream about becoming a lawyer. I still imagine the day when I'll walk into a university classroom and know that every obstacle was worth it. Until then, I'm focusing on becoming stronger, more confident, and more prepared for whatever comes next.
Life doesn't always move as fast as we want it to.
But as long as we're moving forward, that's what matters.
And honestly, I think that's something to be proud of. β¨
