Hi Hive Drone Fans. One of the issues I found flying my new DJI Mini 2 in north Wales last week with @scubahead, was how easy it was to lose sight of the small drone.
It was not so bad against the sky but as soon as I was looking down on it from the Aqueduct it disappeared against the background of trees and bushes.
So I’ve ordered up Hi-Vis skin when I got home and fitted it today. The vinyl skins are all custom cut for the drone so not too hard to fit.
and the glue is heat-activated so it's fairly easy to peel them off if the alignment isn’t spot on and reapply them before curing the glue with a hairdryer.
It should now make it a lot easier to spot when I'm flying and I also got a set of Operator ID details too which fit the arms.
So I am now flying nice and legally.
