Academic Recommendation Of The Day: Overleaf (Formerly Known as LaTex)

Hey there, fellow HIVE users worldwide as well as dear readers from both HIVE and outside of it! For today's personal contribution on the Proof of Brain community here on HIVE, I decided to write a bit and endorse the online academic software Overleaf (formerly known as LaTex) which I had been using during my first studentship abroad at Aalborg University (AAU) between 2017 and 2020.

Overleaf (formerly known as LaTex, spelled/pronounced 'LaTec' actually), is one of the best and most reliable online academic software for writing your project papers, reports, and even thesis. It is well suited for the creation of a wide variety of documents in the field of academia, rather user-friendly, and can work very well with a series of templates which you can either import or create yourself.

Best of all, when it comes to student team work, Overleaf is cloud-based and a history of logs and edits on behalf of each and every contributor within a document can be viewed and tracked with ease.

I can also recommend Overleaf (more on it on the English version of Wikipedia for a start) from my personal experience as a student abroad who worked very well on it for the creation of a series of reports for semester projects and other assignments for my technical BSc education in Media Technology (or Medialogy for short).

Bearing in mind the aforementioned aspects, hereby also a video introduction on Overleaf from their official YouTube channel:

That was all for this short post of mine. I truly hope you liked this post, found it interesting, and was well worth your time! Thank you very much for your time, attention, readership, support, consideration, and positive feedback here on HIVE! It means a lot to me indeed! All the best, take care, stay safe, and have a wonderful autumn!
