Today I mixed in one post a few frames from 3 different film stocks. Some people claim that they can recognize the film stocks just by the look of the images, I don't think that this is possible for most Black and White taken on film images. But I'm not a big specialist and messing with the rolls of films and the chemicals a little bit for more than 10 years. I wasn't born with a film camera in my hands and never developed during my childhood.
The first image was taken on Ilford HP5 film with Ricoh GR1s camera. Below is the image and the camera I used this time.
Not sure if I have some explanation for this image which I contributed for the Squares #pobphotocontest - @friendlymoose/pobphotocontest-new-round-squares
hosted by @friendlymoose.
I just loved this cooperation between the beautiful evening somewhere in the fields, and the connection of the fence and the standing alone tree. This fence is not really saving some goodies, but supporting the tree.
The next two images were exposed on Kodak TMX 400 film with the same camera if I remember right. One is photographed in Jerusalem. And the next is in my garden.
The last three images were exposed on Ilford FP4 100 film, but I pushed the film 3 more stops with some goal, which I don't really remember - seems like I just wanted to experiment with this stock and its limitations during the pushing process. Actually, this time everything was different and new for me - this 3 stop push, the developer Ilford ID-11 which I used the first time, and a new
rangefinder Canon P, which I just bought on eBay.
Below are the images and the camera :
You can see how is dirty this night shot. The developer was around 20 years old, so, possible that was the reason for this white snow.
