Good day Hivians, My name is Vuyelwe, but you can call me Silhouette D. Grey or Silho for short. I have been introduced to Hive by my good friend @presh84. I currently live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am looking forward to sharing my journey as husband, a father, an education system reformist and an anime enthusiast with the Hive family and not only sharing also learning from your extensive wealth of knowledge.
First, my persona as Silhouette D. Grey. In a world where we are privileged with all manner of information and knowledge, there is much content that is shrouded in doubt and uncertainty. In our everyday lives it is an undeniable truth that we are all shaped by our daily experiences, it is however also an undeniable truth that what shapes our lives may not stem from truth or correct information. My name is Silhouette D. Grey, I give a silhouette to topics and things that are normally referred to as a grey area in other words I give a shape to content and information that is otherwise shrouded in uncertainty. The D. in my name is taken from my love of the One Piece anime, for me it represents my unbending will to achieve something that I have set my mind to achieve.

Secondly, I am a husband to one stunning gal and we have been married for five years now, I am also father to two beautiful daughters aged four and two. I swear these three ladies are a representation of my heart and love in physical form, and I am truly blessed to have them in my live.
Thirdly, I am a Life Orientation and Economic and Management Sciences educator at a school for the Deaf in Soweto. Teaching for the past seven years at a special school has only deepened my love of education, not only that but it has only shown me how unpractical and unfair public special education is implemented and taught. This has convicted me to do more to address this unfairness. The community and culture of Deaf people has only added to the many blessings in my life, they have widened my perspective in life.
Lastly, I am passionate about education reform, from the process of teaching and learning and also the process of assessment as well. The reform I want to see says that the learning process is not the same for everyone and assessment cannot be the same for everyone. Tailored curriculum and assessment is want I want to see and achieve. I am also an enthusiast of the anime universe, some of the themes that are explored in anime challenge social norms and they also challenge the individual to think beyond themselves.
