How to Beat The Dog Days of Summer - contest

Hello dear Hivers, Thanks @thecontesttrain for announcing this contest. It is at the right moment. The summer is at its peak. It is hot everywhere and we still don't know what to do to "survive".

Since I've become a Mom my days are almost the same. The exception is the weather temperatures. We don't have any AC installation, we didn't need it, because we live in a very windy area and almost all the time there are air streams which cool the air in the apartment. But of course, the hell comes when the wind stops or when it is too strong and I have to close the windows.

What do we do in the summer?

Well, my sweet toddler now walks, runs, and wants to play more outside. In front of the building where we live there is a big playground with a couple of installations suitable for kids between 3 and 12 years old. There are swings some things for climbing and slides. The fun is real there. There is a big shade from the nearby trees so there is a place for the kids and the parents.

When it becomes too hot to be at home (most of the time outside is cooler than at home, we go out for a walk to the near shop for some icecreams and we stay at the playground. My toddler's sleeping and eating mode is kinda different from the others, so it is not something special if we are alone at the playground.

This is our summer for good or bad. When his father is having a day off from time to time we go to the beach and the little one is having fun there.
