I went back through some old archived photos to find something WHITE. These were taken in the lighthouse in Ontanagon in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, USA

This one is inside the Ontonagon Light. It's a beautiful brick lighthouse built in 1866 and since we really had no desire to tour another lighthouse, we just wanted to get close enough to take some nice photos.
That was easier said than done! We drove around for the longest time, but It seems that the lighthouse is surrounded by private property and the only way you can get close enough to take a photo is to go downtown to the Historical Society and pay for a tour. They put you on a small bus and drive you through the gates of an industrial property, and then over to the lighthouse. So we ended up touring the interior of it whether we wanted to or not!

The steps of the Ontanagon Light were painted white.

The Ontonagon Lighthouse is located on Lake Superior at the mouth of the Ontanagon River.
