In Looney tunes, not only did we see unwanted sexual advances, but also cross dressing, suicide, and violence with and without guns.

While searching for pictures I found an article that said *The New York Times* said the character was 'normalizing rape culture.'

In one episode Bugs Bunny decides to do himself in with his partner --- People never die from gun shots in looney tunes. They never seem to die no matter what they do to themselves or each other. His partner shoots and ends up with his face black with soot but not dead. Bugs Bunny on the other hand, holds the gun to his ears, and far above his head, his ears contract downward just before he fires, and saying in southern accent "I missed".

I remember reading about when people cannot write anything they want for fear of reprisals, writings have to be encoded somehow. Those of us reading things on the surface don't understand the true content.
