People want Less Convincing

There are some of the time people want to get the work done out of you and they don't want you to get convinced. You have to do the work and make sure to stop convincing them and instead keep on working. If you can do that then things would be rather better.

People want to get the work done

Some of the time people don't want to hear anything from you. And instead they want to learn about various things they can do after you do their work. So some of the time they are waiting for you to act instead and that is where they want to get the work done.

People want to listen to you less

A lot of time salespitches are annoying. And people don't want to listen to you. And they want to see you in action. Same they want to do from others as well. So some of the time it's always better option to speak less and you learn to do more with your life. So you have to say less.

You have a work to do for People

It's okay to do the salespitch and it's okay to do the work. But some of the time your result and work should do most of the work. And that is what would put you much more in control of the situation. So make sure to do the work that other party needs and not do much of talk instead let the work talk.

As you can see some of the time working on something is what is required. And most people don't pay much attention to that part. If you have been paying attention then make sure to speak less and do more if possible.

Conclusion

You say less things and instead let the people see your results. This way you would have people under your trust. And this trust usually ends up making more opportunities for you. How you handle from that point onwards is upto you.
