As for the next time, if they are good, people will not contract them as "piano and violin", but by NAMES, as "X and Y"... That confirms the quality, avoiding discussions of doing a job for a cheaper price as you are aware of what you are getting for the money, etc.

True and there's also an admiration if they're not looking for a pianist but a person. Time is money. Quality is a better way to get a decent job.

I hope everyone always gets what they give in equal tho it's impossible nowadays. Harsh truth: Workers want a good amount of money with less effort. The headhunters want to pay less with more results. 😂
