The chance to immerse myself in a coffee farm brought me amusement after exploring and learning how it was cultivated; appreciating how beautiful the plants are when they are fully grown; knowing how they were harvested; appreciating how the first-hand production process is done; and connecting how this farm benefits the community. These are the contributing factors to why we reached Tuburan Coffee.
Good day Hivers! I'm not just a coffee lover but I 100% love coffee. Upon hearing the pieces of information straight from @callmesmile about the coffee farm in Tuburan, my excitement ignited me to step on this place and be able to appreciate how this farm gives delight to the community and all coffee lovers like me.
In this blog, I'm going to share how I love Tuburan Coffee the moment I entered, and the time when I left.
Nestled in the secluded area of Municipality Tuburan, there is a hidden gem benefited by the locals, the Tuburan Coffee Farm. This is owned by the mayor of the municipality. After our long journey, we finally reached the entrance part. In here, it is already captivating, with the lush green that is truly enticing. The place is far from pollutants, so tranquil and its natural background boasts to each one of us meticulously.
They have a specific area where the proper cultivation is done. They are so particular about the condition of the coffee plants being cultivated to be healthy as they grow. This is only one of the factors that will be beneficial to the beans planted.
This nipa hut seen right after the entrance is mind-blowing. The usage of the Nipa leaves in this hut made it so traditional. A Filipino hut is preferred by many due to its natural insulation that makes it unique and it is also economical. It offers many purposes and its versatility is usually loved by the pinoys. It is cool to be here.
Look at these evergreen shrubs situated at the back of their nipa hut. RM was having fun as I took her a shot having the glossy dark green leaves as the background. Believe me, this was our first time to witness the Scion tree. Once they will be mature, the more they bloom and more dense foliage will be observed.
After harvesting, the different processes were now applied. Drying under the sun's heat, extracting them from the cherries, and placing them inside this facility outside their shop. The beans are now ready for the roasting process.
Who doesn't like free taste? This is one thing that is special about this coffee farm. Their unique strategy to build trust amongst the customers is to let them have a sampling taste of their coffee. The aromatic smell of their brewed coffee brought me a relaxing sensation. The taste and the quality of the coffee here are pure and natural. I instantly love the product. Thanks to the free taste, I was able to differentiate the taste of pure coffee.
Although were from a long trip and the sun was blazing, we could not dare to say No to their free taste of coffee. The smell was already enticing and we definitely love to drink it.
At the elevated spot of the farm is the aesthetic design of their shop that is inviting. It had shown a true distinction of being a Filipino due to the usage of bamboo. This made it so natural and the preference of the owner to use these materials is a contributing factor for the customers to appreciate its ambiance. It is pleasing and relaxing as the air can pass freely due to the open design applied. The coffee lovers will surely enjoy it here.
Another great factor about this coffee farm is the work opportunities offered to the locals in this community. This does not just help in the increase of their economy but also the financial status of the common laborers. The farmers are benefited as they are responsible for taking care of the farm.
Our group photo opportunity of course together with the farmer before leaving this enchanting spot. This group created a harmonious and great friendship that made this journey enjoyable and successful. We were able to continue establishing essential rapport for the betterment of everybody.
