There are so many cash crop trees that can be found here in Nigeria most especially in different states in Nigeria it also depends on individual community state and environment. Each environment has its own different types of trees which makes it more special when you visit some kind of environment and the attractiveness which brings more people to show more concern about what they have. in this type of environment we have this type of tree called the teak tree.

The stick tree is a very type of tree which has a lot of advantages even in terms of windbreak. this is why most people try as much as possible to enroll this type of tree in their compound or any type of big tree. Mainly the teak TREES for research purposes as you can see it in multitude. They are very plenty in this environment and this is a school environment I mean University of ilorin. They have it in abundance. they do more of resources for students and for upper level education. I made a visit day when it was raining and I had the kind of experience which I have never had in my life. When I visited the farm it was more than 1,000 pieces of trees standing one after the other. Then I know it is purposely for 1 research or the other. I took some pictures of how it was at that time.

When we were growing we had a lot of discussion on tree crops and cash crops likewise vegetable crops. And we were taught a lot of tree crops such as cashew trees, mango trees, orange trees, teak trees, mahogany trees, and many other trees that has much more important and values.

when dealing with this type of trees you need to be extremely careful because it has a lot of tendency to grow more higher than built houses. I could remember when we were staying in another type of state known as Osun State Nigeria. My dad happened to plant this teak TREES with a lot of spaces in between them more than 4-5 teak trees. And as time goes on it started growing up more higher with bigger branches. Within a short period of time it started bit big function which one of them is windbreaker.

Before it start to rain there was always a big and terrified wind all over more than 10 to 15 minutes. This has always been a Norm. So it started it work as a windbreaker more than four to eight years ago. You can also plant this type of crop as tree crops. But you need to verify wherever you want to start planting because within few years it will grow up to be a very big tree.

Some actually process this type of tree has planks. Likewise some processes as books.
