Battling Pest Infestation: A Farmer's Fight for Maize Survival

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my farming article for today, I went on a visit to my maize farm, and here is what I experienced. You know
As a farmer, there are few things more disheartening than visiting your maize farm only for you to discover that it has been attacked by pest infestation. This was the harsh reality I faced today when I visited my farm to check up on my crops.

When I arrived at the farm, the sight that greeted me was the maize. I was heartbroken, you know when you feel the feeling of seeing your labor waste, I was supposed to see that rows upon rows were affected, their leaves chewed to shreds and their kernels decimated by voracious pests. The sight was devastating, sending a reminder to my mind about the fragility of agricultural livelihoods and the ever-present threat of pest infestation. Well I left the farm, I will be bringing someone who knows better to identify the pest and to also come with pesticide to spread on it to regain the leaves before it starts flowering.

The next thing I will do is when planting on this particular farm land I will have to do crop rotation,
intercropping, and proper field sanitation practices to disrupt pest life cycles and minimize their impact on my crops.

This was my experience in the game today.
