What's overpopulation?

Overpopulation can be defined can be defined as the means whereby people living in a particular habitat are now outrunning the natural resources of that areas. Just a quick one, I will use where I stay as a case study. There's a particular area in Ilorin metropolis, the name of the area is called Tanke area which is located very close to the University of Ilorin. At a point, this area was a habitat for few human and many animals. In fact it's a place that people used got farm practises. People come from long distance to farm in that area.

Now what made the area so popular and fasten the area to develop for many people to troop in? A university called University of Ilorin was moved from the mini campus at Adewole area to Tanke area. This was one of the major reasons why the started developing. When people started building more houses, indirectly people were using the area for farming had to stop because the owners were selling the land out for people that wanted to use for habitation.

So the instant and rapid development of this area made some known animals to go into extinction and became scarce. So the overpopulation of this Tanke area in question threw a threat to the community such that where well water system was a common means of water supply now became digging of borehole. The funniest thing is at least would see a house without borehole.
