It's astonishing how much better I feel when I'm in an environment free of hazardous microbes. Simple behaviours such as washing my hands frequently, sanitising surfaces, and keeping my living space clean have significantly reduced my risks of catching common infections like colds and the flu.
I've also discovered that avoiding germ exposure reduces my chances of developing gastrointestinal problems, which are frequently caused by bacteria in unsanitary places.
