It's another day, thus, another opportunity to do my cleaning activities.
I am happy because I saw the light of a new day. It is not is.
Yesterday was one very cool. I went to the morning prayer and to my ward afterwards. On reaching there, there was a patient there already and I was happy. I got to interact and the shift was handed over down to the nurses in morning duty.
After the handing over, we went through the folder and saw the patient. Continued the care. After a long time, prolonged labour was diagnosed and the patient had to go for a bikini due to the elevation of fetal heart rate.
I prepared the patient for the procedure and took her to the place where the bikini will be given to her. I scrubbed up and after a prayer, the bikini was given and a live female was brought out. It was beautiful ya'know. Though the apgar score was not satisfactory, it improved after midwifes care.
After the procedure, patient was sent to the recovery room for close observation and to the postnatal ward afterwards.
This is not the first I'm witnessing this procedure but this one was really beautiful and I'm happy to have witnessed it.
After my shift, I went home refreshed and sleep came to take me away.
Anyhoo, it's another and I did my cleaning activities.
