Así, lo vivencial es de suma importancia para mi obra. Sigo la línea de lo afro descendiente, idealizando la figura y las facciones de la mujer que afirma una tipología y fisionomía verdadera, racial y femenina, distinguiéndose por el acabado cromático dada a ciertas figuras que a la vez acentúan la crudeza y el dramatismo de los temas, en algunos casos, la desnudez y el raquitismo están presentes.

Thus, the experiential is of utmost importance for my work. I follow the line of the Afro-descendant, idealizing the figure and the features of the woman that affirms a true, racial and feminine typology and physiognomy, distinguishing itself by the chromatic finish given to certain figures that at the same time accentuate the rawness and drama of the themes, in some cases, nudity and rickets are present.

Estas son mujeres que muestran su desnudez total, detrás de cuyas pieles se traslucen crudamente sus conformaciones óseas, contrastando, a la vez, con senos prominentes y labios carnosos que resultan ser las características más sensuales en esos cuerpos frágiles y magros…
These are women who show their total nudity, behind whose skins their bony conformations crudely shine through, contrasting, at the same time, with prominent breasts and fleshy lips that turn out to be the most sensual characteristics in those fragile and lean bodies...
Cabalgo entre dos terrenos, entre la estética tradicional y lo contemporáneo. Esto queda evidenciado en el tema y la forma, en la representación anecdótica y realista del cuerpo humano, construidas en fibra de vidrio con la que vacío mis esculturas.
I ride between two fields, between traditional and contemporary aesthetics. This is evidenced in the subject and the form, in the anecdotal and realistic representation of the human body, built in fiberglass with which I empty my sculptures.

En ésta etapa de mi obra destaco otro tipo de belleza corporal para inducir a RE-PENSAR el concepto tradicional de belleza, y acercarnos un poco más a una realidad estética diferente en donde se enfatice “la belleza en lo feo”.
In this stage of my work, I highlight another type of corporal beauty to induce to RE-THINK the traditional concept of beauty, and to get a little closer to a different aesthetic reality where “beauty in the ugly” is emphasized.
