No hay palabras para expresar lo agradecida que me siento por mis hijos, ellos son, sin duda, lo mejor que me ha podido pasar en la vida, son seres de luz que iluminan mis días con sus sonrisas, me llenan del amor más puro que puede haber y, además, nos regalan a su papá y a mí, motivos para estar orgullosos de ellos y para admirarlos.
Hoy fue la promoción de sexto grado de mi príncipe, al culminar de manera exitosa su educación primaria. Toda la ceremonia fue hermosa y los detalles impecables, quedé gratamente sorprendida con todo, lo que deja en evidencia la ardua labor del personal del plantel y el comité de graduación de este año, formado por 5 madres de estudiantes, que asumieron esa titánica tarea, por amor a sus hijos.
La alegría inundaba el ambiente y la buena organización permitió que el acto comenzara a tiempo.
Después de las palabras de bienvenida de la presentadora del evento, mi hijo abrió el acto protocolar, solicitando al director del plantel la entrega de sus certificados. Él fue elegido por las docentes de sexto grado, para desempeñar ese rol, por su destacada trayectoria en el plantel... ¿Pueden imaginar mi orgullo? Mis lágrimas corrían por mis mejillas sin poder evitarlo y tuve que contener la respiración para no llorar como una niña.
Seguidamente, él pasó al centro del escenario y entonces se acercó el director de la escuela, que lo saludó brevemente, antes de tomar su lugar en el pódium para dar su discurso, que fue emotivo y significativo.
Al terminar su discurso, el director autorizó a las maestras a entregar los certificados a los estudiantes promovidos y comenzaron a llamarlos uno a uno. Los padres podíamos subir al escenario y tomarles una fotografía cuando les entregaban sus certificados. Ellos también recibieron un hermoso cotillón y un morral escolar. Por otra parte, había un fotógrafo profesional que nos tomó también un par de fotografías.
Luego fue el turno de los jovencitos recién promovidos, quienes ocuparon el escenario para cantar "Color Esperanza" de Diego Torres. Ellos comenzaron su interpretación en suéter blanco y, en medio de la canción, se la quitaron para quedarse con uno azul, que es el que deberán usar en su nuevo año escolar. Todos estábamos muy emocionados y los chicos más.
Y así terminó este acto tan valioso para ellos y para nosotros como padres. Fue un gran día, con muchos motivos para agradecer y que siempre quedará grabado en nuestra memoria.

There are no words to express how grateful I feel for my children, they are, without a doubt, the best thing that has happened to me in my life, they are beings of light that illuminate my days with their smiles, they fill me with the purest love there can be and, in addition, they give their dad and me, reasons to be proud of them and to admire them.
Today was my prince's sixth grade promotion, as he successfully completed his primary education. The whole ceremony was beautiful and the details were impeccable, I was pleasantly surprised with everything, which shows the hard work of the staff of the school and this year's graduation committee, formed by 5 mothers of students, who took on this titanic task, for love of their children.
Joy flooded the atmosphere and good organization allowed the ceremony to begin on time.
After the words of welcome from the presenter of the event, my son opened the ceremony, asking the director of the school to present his certificates. He was chosen by the sixth grade teachers to play this role, because of his outstanding trajectory in the school... Can you imagine my pride? My tears ran down my cheeks without being able to help it and I had to hold my breath not to cry like a little girl.
He then moved to the center of the stage and then the school principal approached and greeted him briefly, before taking his place at the podium to give his speech, which was emotional and meaningful.
At the end of his speech, the principal authorized the teachers to hand out certificates to the promoted students and began calling them up one by one. We parents were able to go up on stage and take a picture of them as they were handed their certificates. They also received a beautiful cotillion and a school bag. On the other hand, there was a professional photographer who also took a couple of pictures of us.
Then it was the turn of the newly promoted youngsters, who took the stage to sing "Color Esperanza" by Diego Torres. They started their performance in a white sweater and, in the middle of the song, they took it off to wear a blue one, which is the one they will have to wear in their new school year. We were all very excited and the kids even more so.
And so ended this act so valuable for them and for us as parents. It was a great day, with many reasons to be thankful and that will always remain engraved in our memory.
