En primer lugar agradecerles por leer mi primer post, espero complacerlos con algún texto interesante regularmente.
En segundo lugar, excusarme si acaso se me va algun error ortográfico o gramatical por mi escritúra efímera.
No quiero dejar de mencionar en mi primer post al que fue mi compañero de estudios de pregrado, @abneragro por haberse tomado el tiempo de guiarme hasta aquí de una manera tan desinteresada que me resulta tristemente sorprendente conocer ese lado de alguien en esta sociedad que se ha vuelto tan egoista.
Sin más preambulo, heme aquí:
Aristides Simon Miguel Fernandez Puerta, nacido en Venezuela el 5 de noviembre de 1992, unico hijo (Pero no el primero) de Germania Puerta y Miguel Fernandez, quienes me tuvieron sin planificación pero que deliberadamente se dispusieron a ser ejemplos de padres para una niñez genial a pesar de la soledad a nivel familiar por haber nacido en una brecha generacional importante entre mis primos.
Seguramente fruto de su edad y de haber tenido más de una década antes a mis hermanos, supieron como educar sin castigos y entre juegos a un nuevo hijo que les acompañaría por muchos años. Seguramente también al tener ya su vida resuelta para cuando yo nací, les dejó mucho espacio para la imaginación y ha de venir de ello que tenga 3 nombres.
Criado en estrecho contacto con el campo, siempre quise dirigir mi profesión a esa área, al principio queria ser médico veterinario como mi papá, sin embargo, por condiciones del país, tuve la oportunidad de estudiar una carrera que finalmente compaginaría mucho mejor con mis prospectos de persona adulta como lo es ingeniería en agroalimentación, es una versión de la ingeniería agronómica que condujo el Gobierno venezolano bajo la gerencia de Hugo Chavez y su reforma universitaria.
La calidad de la educación en tales instituciones desató polemica, como muchas otras cosas, sin embargo, quienes realmente estuvimos interesados en la profesión notamos las debilidades y no nos conformamos solamente con lo que se nos impartía en el aula y las prácticas.
A pesar de lo que se pudiese decir de dicho regimen educativo, considero que tuve excelentes profesores, muy enfocados a la parte práctica cuando correspondía y que además, al menos por mi parte, sirvieron de grán motivación e inspiración para aprender.
Una vez obtenido el titulo de grado comencé una maestría en horticultura, mención fruticultura en la Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro alvarado, donde llevo ya mas de 4 años luchando contra las adversidades de mi país para obtener mi título, el cual, por cierto, está a la vuelta de la esquina si no hay más imprevistos de consideración.
Mi primer proyecto de tesis era sobre la producción asexual de plantines de fresas (Fragaria x ananassa) bajo entornos contrastantes, el segundo, el de multuplicación y saneamiento de semilla asexual del plátano (Musa balbisiana) y, finalmente, el proyecto que ya casi llevo a término: determinar afinidad entre diferentes clones de cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) y 3 patrones diferentes. Hago esta aclaratoria debido a que seguramente serán estos los temas que vean en mi blog con más respaldo bibliográfico y menos empirismo.
De esos tres temas he tenido experiencia laboral en dos: la propagación y saneamiento de semilla asexual del plátano
y el manejo integral del cacao, enfatizando, como es de espérarse, la labor de injertación.
Mi actividad laboral principal el ultimo año, pero que vengo practicando de manera regular desde el 2018, es el análisis de los mercados financieros, con más énfasis en el mercado de criptomonedas, blockchain y derivados y a través de dicho análisis, realizar inversiones y mantener exposición ante algunos activos.
Sin embargo anteriormente he trabajado en algunas otras cosas, como el área de construcción, principalmente acabados y tabiquería en láminas de yeso.
Uno de mis campos favoritos es la mecanica y todo lo relacionado con el mundo automotor, tan es así que informandome por mi cuenta y con la ayuda de conocidos más experimentados he llegado a hacer todas las reparaciones a nivel de tren motriz y suspención que ha necesitado mi vehículo desde hace 3 años, así que seguramente estaré haciendo publicaciones inherentes.
Así como también del ámbito del ambiente, ecología, conservacion, y buenas costumbres conservacionistas, y hablando de costumbres, algunas reflexiones de tono filosófico.
Sin más que agregar a mi presentación, le agradezco por haberse tomado el tiempo de leer esta reseña de mi vida y espero que mis posts sean de su agrado.

Aristides Simon Miguel Fernandez Puerta, born in Venezuela on November 5, 1992, only child (But not the first) of Germania Puerta and Miguel Fernandez, who had me unplanned but deliberately set out to be parental examples for a great childhood despite the loneliness at the family level for being born in a major generation gap between my cousins. Raised in close contact with the countryside, I always wanted to direct my profession to that area, at first I wanted to be a veterinarian like my dad, however, by conditions of the country, I had the opportunity to study a career that finally would combine much better with my prospects as an adult person as it is agri-food engineering, is a version of agronomic engineering that led the Venezuelan government under the management of Hugo Chavez and his university reform.
The quality of education in such institutions sparked controversy, like many other things, however, those of us who were really interested in the profession noticed the weaknesses and were not satisfied only with what was taught in the classroom and practices.
Despite what could be said about that educational regime, I consider that I had excellent teachers, very focused on the practical part when it corresponded and also, at least for my part, served as great motivation and inspiration to learn.
Once I obtained my title, I started a master's degree in horticulture, mention in fruit growing at the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado, where I have been fighting against the adversities of my country for more than 4 years to obtain my degree, which, by the way, is just around the corner if there are no more unforeseen events of consideration.
My first thesis project was on the asexual production of strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa) seedlings under contrasting environments, the second, the asexual seed multiplication and sanitation of banana (Musa balbisiana) and, finally, the project that I am almost finished: to determine affinity between different clones of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) and 3 different rootstocks. Of these three topics I have had work experience in two: the propagation and sanitation of asexual seed ofplantain
