Today, the 2023 Barcelona Marathon took place with more than 15K runners.
It was a beautiful mostly sunny day and you could feel the event atmosphere in town. But today is also fader's day in Spain and is also calçot season, which is a kind of onion very traditional from Catalonia, so we decided to drive to the mountains and have a nice bbq with the family.
We had a great traditional lunch starting with grilled onions and some bbq stakes with baked potatoes and I got a nice father's day present from one of my favorite shops.
Later on, I found out, there was a Calçots Festival running in town, I wonder if some of the Marathon runners decided to join and taste them!
