Today is another special day for me and my partner! we visited the famous Budapark in Bombarral Portugal! And of course you wonder what is so special about this site? Actually it has many things of interest to us tourists, first you can delight yourself with a repertoire of works of art, and this park as it is also known (Buddha Eden) is the BIGGEST oriental park IN EUROPE !!! so make yourself comfortable for the photos that I prepare for you!๐๐จ๐ฉ๐งญ
Hoy es otro dia especial para mi y mi pareja! visitamos el famoso Budapark en Bombarral Portugal! y claro te preguntaras que tiene este sitio de especial? en realidad tiene muchas cosas de interes para nosotros los turistas, primero podras deleitarte con un repertorio de obras de arte, y este parque como tambien se le conoce (Buddha Eden) es el parque oriental MAS GRANDE DE EUROPA!!! asi que ponte comodo para las fotos que te prepare!๐๐ฅ๐

The park is about 120 kilometers from Amora, which is the town where I live, so it was a trip of an hour or so! the park has a cost of 5 euros per adult, and 10 euros by train! I mean, you have to choose whether to visit the park on foot or pay a little more and ride the train with a guide who explains the pieces of art!๐ฅ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฎ
El parque queda a unos 120 kilometros de Amora que es la localidad donde vivo, por lo que fue un viaje de una hora mas o menos! el parque tiene un costo de 5 euros por adulto, y 10 euros en tren! osea tienes para escoger si visitar el parque caminando o pagar un poco mas y pasear en el tren con un guia que va explicando las piezas de arte!๐๐
You probably never heard the word Bombarral, and it belongs to a beautiful city north of Lisbon! As I mentioned earlier, this park is the largest eastern park in Europe.It has an approximate extension of 35 hectares of land well used and decorated with many works of art, such is the case of BUDDHA, FOUNTAINS, PEDAGOGAS and a large lake that crosses the entire park full of colorful fish (koi) walking around the park will take you about an hour and a half!๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
Probablemente nunca llegaste a escuchar la palabra Bombarral, y pues pertenece a una hermosa ciudad al norte de Lisboa! como mencione anteriormente este parque es el parque oriental mas grande de europa tiene una extension aproximada de 35 hectareas de terreno bien aprovechadas y decoradas con muchas obras de arte, tal es el caso de BUDAS, FUENTES, PEDAGOGAS y un gran lago que atraviesa todo el parque lleno con peces coloridos (koi) recorrer el parque te llevara una hora y media aproximadamente!๐๐
The owner of the park is a wealthy Portuguese businessman obsessed with art! He also has many vineyards and manufactures different types of wines! Mr. Jose Bernardo invested in this park more than 6 thousand tons of granite and marble stone! everything in the park is very well preserved when you walk in it you feel like it transports you to the Asian culture!๐ฎ๐ฎ
El dueรฑo del parque es un rico empresario Portugues obsesionado con arte! tiene tambien muchas viรฑeras y fabrica distintos tipos de vinos! el Seรฑor Jose Bernardo invirtio en este parque mas de 6mil toneladas de piedra de granito y marmol! todo en el parque esta muy bien conservado cuando paseas en el sientes como te trasporta a la cultura asiatica!๐ค๐ค
The construction of the park originated in 2001 and is basically a tribute to the great cultural destruction that happened in Afghanistan (giant Buddhas Bฤmiyฤn), an expression of culture the Buddhas were built in the 5th century and later destroyed by terrorist groups in the country ! a true manifestation of human evil! but Joe gave life to those works here in Portugal!๐๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ
La construccion del parque se origino en el aรฑo 2001 y basicamente es un homenaje a la gran destruccion cultural que sucedio en afganistan (Budas gigantes Bฤmiyฤn), una expresion de cultura los budas fueron construidos en el siglo V y posteriormente destruidos por grupos terroristas del pais! una verdadera manifestacion de maldad humana! pero Joe dio vida a esas obras aqui en Portugal!๐ฎ๐ฎ

La fundacion del empresario Joe es sin fines de lucro pero me sorprendio que cobrara 5 euros para entrar en algo que es de interes "publico" pero lei un poco y soy testigo de los actos de bandalismo que presencie mientras fotografiaba algunas esculturas, muchas personas colocan sus firmas, rompen las estructura! y me pregunto es asi como opinamos a una forma de expresion? es el respeto que damos a los artistas que tuvieron que dedicar aรฑos de trabajo? REFLEXIONA....๐๐

Before starting to walk I saw the map of the park, inside you have at your disposal a restaurant with delicious dishes, you have a shop to take a souvenir, of course a place with sale of the best wines! our tour begins when we pass a beautiful white entrance built with granite and marble and of course not to mention the oriental style in which it is inspired!๐๐๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Antes de comenzar a caminar vi el mapa del parque, dentro tienes a disposicion un restaurante con platillos deliciosos, tienes una tienda para llevarte un recuerdo, por supuesto un local con venta de los mejores vinos! nuestro recorrido empieza cuando pasamos una hermosa entrada blanca construida con granito y marmol y claro como no mencionar el estilo oriental en la cual se inspira!๐ค๐ค
The main attraction of the park is the eastern lake, in which we can take some beautiful backgrounds with a beautiful and elegant red bridge that passes the lake from side to side! We can also photograph the colorful KOI fish, some ducks, the park has many species of exotic plants, among them for example we see bamboo!๐๐๐ ๐โ๐๐ฟ๐พ๐ท๐ผ๐ป๐บ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ฒ
El atractivo principal del parque es el lago oriental, en el podremos tomarnos unas bonitas fondos con un hermoso y elegante puente rojo que pasa el lago de lado a lado! podremos tambien fotografiar los peces coloridos KOI, algunos patos, el parque cuenta con muchas especies de plantas exoticas, entre ellas por ejemplo vemos el bambu!๐

For me the favorite part was when we got to the center of the park that we had to climb some red stairs, on the sides were giant pieces of golden bamboo with the impression of being made with gold! and in the center we have the main piece which is a LYING BUDDHA xD!๐ฎ๐ฎ
Para mi la parte favorita fue cuando llegamos al centro del parque que tuvimos que subir unas escaleras rojas, a los lados estaban piezas gigantes de bambus dorados con impresion de ser realizados con oro! y en el centro tenemos la pieza principal que es un BUDA ACOSTADO xD!๐๐๐
After passing the giant statues of Buddhas we entered a small forest with trees that decorate the landscape, I can tell you that everything is used here! because the trunks of the trees are used to extract the wood with which the cork of the wines is built!๐ฎ๐ฎ
Luego de pasar las estatudas gigantes de Budas entramos a un pequeรฑo bosque con arboles que decoran el paisaje, puedo decirte que aqui se aprovecha todo! pues los troncos de los arboles sirven para extraer la madera con la que se construye el corcho de los vinos!๐ด๐ณ๐ฒ

I think one of my favorite arts would have to include the famous terracotta soldiers, let's say they protect the park with their colorful blue! They are an exact replica of the sculptures found in China (Xiam mausoleum) that are a world heritage site!๐คฉ๐คฉ
Creo que de mis artes favoritas tendria que incluir los famosos soldados de terracota, digamos que protegen el parque con su azul colorido! son una replica exacta de las escultura encontradas en China (mausoleo de Xiam) que son patrimonio de la humanidad! ๐ฎ๐ฎ

Personally, the experience was very interesting and awakens that artistic side that we carry inside, although it seemed a bit expensive to me, the entrance is a place that every tourist who comes to Portugal must visit! and of course you must take a good souvenir wine!๐ค๐ค
En lo personal la experiencia fue muy interesante y despierta ese lado artistico que llevamos dentro, aunque me parecio un poco costosa la entrada es un sitio que todo turista que viene a Portugal debe visitar! y claro debes llevarte un buen vino de recuerdo!๐คฉ๐คฉ
