Episode 3
Young man, your money is not complete!! The bike man echoed.
Oga sorry naa, that's why you're shouting at me?
I thought it was #500, little did I know it's #100.

He exchanged the #100 note with #500 and the bike man gave him balance without causing further drama.
As Marcus entered the park, the last bus that was going to Ibadan drove off.

"You look stranded" one man that was drinking Hero beer said to him.
Yes, I'm going to Ibadan but their last bus just left. I don't know what else to do. Marcus replied.

Is this your first time of traveling? Cheer up man. You see that car that is loading now? The man asked.

Yes but it's going to Onitsha.

Good, you're observant. You have to follow half way. When you get to Onitsha, you will definitely see a car that is going to Ibadan. The man suggested.

Thank you for your help, I think that is the best option I have left. Marcus quickly secured a sit and there was vacancies for 3 more passengers. He sat patiently as they await the passengers.

Obiagu, Dad has gone out for the inspection and he will be coming back a day after tomorrow. He said If Marc arrives, you should take him alongside with you during work hours. Ngozika reported to Obiagu.

Marc should be on his way now, right? When did he call last? Obiagu asked.

Yes, he is on the way. He called around 12pm.

Oh, that's roughly two hours ago. Before he will arrive, I will be done for the day. Marcus replied as he walks into his room to pick up the files he forgot.

Ngozi, Marc has given you offday from work, I wish I am a lady. Obiagu smiled

Let's exchange, become a lady let me become a man. Ngozika laughed out.

Never, I'm just joking. Everyone should enjoy their gender.
I will be going back to work now. I will be coming back by 5:30pm. Obiagu walks away.

Bye and stay safe! They both said.

Ngozika continued with the TV series she was watching before his brother came in.

A loud argument was going on in the car and a traditional music was playing in the background.

Marcus remembered that his mother warns him of halfway transport, due to armed robbery and kidnapping cases in these recent times.

They have traveled miles away from their community and he is not familiar with the area they're driving to. As their car approached Upper Iweka at Onitsha, he looked at the mirror and noticed that the driver was the man who gave him the suggestion to follow halfway.

"Are you sure this is not a setup?" He thought in his mind as he tries to familiarize with the area.
On a second thought, he remembered how many bottles of beer the driver took and the argument he has been engaging his passengers with as he drives.

Immediately, he tried to ask someone sitting beside him. How far they are from their final bus stop.
Their car quickly ran into an oncoming vehicle and there was an explosion.

This accident happened beside the Federal Road Safety Office and it attracted a lot of audience.

The time is 10pm and we haven't seen Marc.
What must be delaying them? Even if he entered train he should be here by now. Obiagu asked Ngozika.

My brother, I'm surprised as well. From our community to this place is roughly 6 hours but this is almost 10 hours and he is not here.
No means of communication either. He should have used someone's phone in the car to call us, at least we'll know he's okay. Ngozika replied.

That reminds me, once he arrives. I will buy him a phone. Communication is highly important to travellers. Obiagu added.
