オーロラみそこねた。😂 I could have seen northern lights in Stockholm! Well, ...

The other day, a bit of major news occurred across Sweden.　Almost the whole of Sweden saw the northern lights, a rare occurrence that happens about once every five years.　When I woke up in the morning, I received a message on LINE (an SMS app like WhatsApp) from sambo's mom with a bit of excitement: "Did you guys see the aurora yesterday?　It was so beautiful!　We saw them in our town!" and she sent us two photos with the message.

先日、スウェーデン全土でちょっとした重大ニュースが発生しました。　ほぼスウェーデン全体で、オーロラが見えるという、５年に１度ぐらい発生する、とても貴重な自然現象が発生しました。　朝起きると、LINEのメッセージにちょっと興奮気味でサンボママから、「あなたたち、昨日のオーロラみた？　きれかったわねぇ～～！　わたし達の町ではとてもきれくみえたわよぉ～。」と言うメッセージとともに、２枚の写真を送ってくれました。（初めの２枚がその写真）

To be honest, we didn't know anything about the Northern Lights that day. So, what did we do?　We ate dinner, as usual, watched a few episodes of "Breaking Bad" on Netflix, and then went to bed. LOL!! 😂

The next day, many news organizations reported in the news section that the northern lights were beautifully visible even in Stockholm.

では、わたしたちは実際何をしていたかと言うと、正直、まったくその日はオーロラに関しての情報を知りませんでした。　結局、いつも通り晩御飯を食べて、少しNetflixで今、観ている「Breaking Bad」を数話観てから寝ました。

次の日はニュース欄にも、ストックホルム市内でもきれいにオーロラが見えたと多くの報道機関が報道していました。　オーロラはそもそも北極圏でしかほぼ見ることのできない、自然現象でストックホルム市内で観れるのは本当に激レアの為、大ニュースになっていました！

こんなサイトまでがその日のオーロラを報道をアップしてるとは。　次の日になって、ことの重大さに少し気づきはじめ、と同時にあきらめ感がどぉ～～と押し寄せてきました。　( ´艸｀)

まぁ、いっかー。　また、いつか見れるよね。

When I told them that we slept without noticing the northern lights at all, they told us about an app that would tell me when I could see the aurora.　I didn't know there was such an app!　I wanted to use it to prepare for the next special day that would surely come. 😉

オーロラは、全然気づかずに寝てたよ、と伝えると、オーロラを見える日を教えてくれるアプリを教えてくれた。　こんな、アプリがあるとは！　これをつかって、今度、きっとまたいつか来る特別な日に備えたいなぁって思いました。　まぁ、スウェーデンですべてをやりきると、さっさと帰りたくなるので、いろんな意味で、未達成の案件があることはいいことかもしれませんよね。
