Greeting and salutations Hive community!
It has been a long time since the last update and I do apologize. It has just been a super busy time here at The Dollar Vigilante. I have not been very active in the Hive comments for the same reasons but you can always hit me up on Discord, Keybase, Telegram or email.
For Vigilante.tv for the most part we have been squashing bugs and also fighting off some attempts to disrupt the site. You may have noticed stuff like a big white blog on some TDV videos. This was done by injecting code into the comments. This should have been mitigated but we are keeping an eye on it. I guess that it is a good sign when people actively try to kill what you are doing. It means we are ruffling some feathers 🙂
Since the last post we passed 6 million views and a ton of Hive comments. It is nice to see that new Hive users are engaging in the discourse. A lot of great and important content to watch free of government censorship.
I learned that self voting when controlling various accounts is a big no-no. I do apologize for that. You learn something new every day 🙂
Here is some new stuff users can actually see on the site:
- We now support audio podcasts and started adding some like: The Free Thought Project (https://vigilante.tv/c/thefreethoughtproject/), The Quash (https://vigilante.tv/c/thequash/) and The Lootz Show (https://vigilante.tv/c/the.lootz.show/)
- The ability to follow creators when logged in with your Hive account.
- New branded icons that will replace the default PeerTube ones like theese below (404 one is my favorite)
