The Haapamäki Museum Locomotive Association organized a train trip from Kouvola to Loviisa via Lahti. Tickets were sold to the train but I had no time for a train trip. Instead, I drove to a stop where I took photos of the train and also shot a video.
Further information about the trip (in Finnish).
There were local people waiting for the train. It turned out it was about 20 minutes late.
Some people arrived by walking on the track. This is a quiet unelectrified track where two trains a day run regularly. On weekends, there are normally no trains at all.
There it is! The locomotive seems to be turned around!
Its braking.
The locomotive is called Ukko-Pekka. It is the same type as the one parked in Mytäjäinen.
Wooden passenger cars
The metal car in the middle was added this time because of the corona epidemic to add space. There are seats for almost 300 passengers on the train.
The conductor asking whether anyone wants to board the train. Tickets are sold only on the train.

I don't know why they had to put the engine the wrong way. But it can be driven like that just as well.

The train is leaving.
It has left the station. It suddenly feels like as if I were in a Western. :)
The black and white version is cool, too.
