Day 92/365: Little Habits Everyone Should Follow

Hello Everyone!

Today, I am going to talk about the habits and little things everyone should follow and that should be taught in schools too. In my opinion, these things should be in taught early in schools so that they become a part of the daily life of an individual. This is because, it is during your early childhood that it’s easy to train the mind in certain way rather than in adulthood. So, let’s take a look at these habits.

Prayer: The first and foremost thing everyone should do is “Pray”. I don’t know how many of you believe in it, but prayers do work and miracles do happen. So, the first thing when we wake up, we need to thank god that we are alive and we have one more day to live. Many people in the world today might not have seen this morning. So you are blessed that you are alive. So, be grateful and give thanks to god for this day.

Today, in a world where people are clicking and posting photos of the foods they eat, I recommend that you should chant a prayer and be thankful that you have food on your table today. After all, millions of people are starving and are going to sleep without eating. So be grateful that you are having a good meal.

And before heading out from your home for your work or anything or at anytime, do chant a prayer so that your day goes well and you return home safely. We don’t know what might happen while driving or travelling, and we never know the power of prayers and which one gets heard by god and we get protected by divine forces.

Lastly, before sleeping, always thank god for the day and count the good things that happened throughout the day. By “good things,” I don’t mean there should be some kind of achievement. Even having proper food, drinking clean water, having healthy family and friends and sleeping peacefully in your home are some of the greatest things in life.

Point to be Noted: Never underestimate the power of prayers.

Yoga: Yoga is not just an exercise for your body. Yoga is for your mind, body and soul. I highly recommend that schools should have yoga classes at least thrice a week so that children will be healthy physically, mentally and spiritually. And, if yoga is taught in the early stage, it would be far more beneficial than learning it later in life. This is because yoga postures release stuck emotions and energies from the body. And, if practiced from early age, one will be more emotionally and mentally balanced than others as the energies will have more time to be balanced and decluttered.

So, yoga is important for everyone to live a healthy life.

Meditation: One of the most important things everyone should do is meditation. It’s not necessary that you need to meditate for 20-30 minutes. Even doing it for 5 minutes every day can change your life immensely. Just close your eyes and focus on your breathe. You don’t need to control your mind. Let the thoughts come and let go of them. Slowly as you practice this every day, you will notice that you are much calmer than before and your thought are much clearer. The best thing is that your sleep improves as your mind becomes calmer and clearer.

All these things that I have mentioned above hardly require more than one hour a day. And this one hour might save your many hours or days. So do follow these things in life for a better and healthy life.

Take care. Have a great day ahead.
