Feliz día mis amigos de Hive. Hoy quiero compartir un poco como fue mi 31 de diciembre en casa al lado de mis pequeñas y mi familia.

Un día antes preparamos las hallacas para la cena del 31 de diciembre. Es que la hallaca forma parte de ese típico plato navideño en la mesa del Venezolano, un plato que concentra "historia". Desde el siglo XV aproximadamente este plato se instalo a través de los africanos e indígenas quienes no dejaban perder el sobrante de los alimentos de las personas a quienes servían y en esa mezcla surgió la hallaca, un alimento que para ellos era un complemento a sus comidas. Una delicia que hoy por hoy se mantiene vigente, de generación en generación y que en diciembre en la mesa es lo más sabroso y la mejor opción

En su cubierta está la la hoja de plátano. Luego la masa de maíz aplanada por las manos mismas con sus dedos o con ayuda de un rodillo, el corazón de esta es el relleno dependiendo de que la quiere preparar cada quién; en mi casa compramos pechuga de pollo para está, hay quienes prefieren de pernil. Al pollo se le suman las verduras para el guiso, los condimentos a usar, así como las aceituna, alcaparras, pasitas y garbanzos, que "adornan" por así decirlo ester guiso, dando un toque diferente a todos aquellos guisos que hayan sido preparados durante el año.

En mi casa ayudo cortando las verduras; el guiso está a cargo de mis padres. Mi papá es quien se ocupa de armar la hallaca como tal, para luego dármela a mí para amarrarlas; soy quien esta a cargo del amarrado ya que tengo agilidad en las manos para esta tarea jeje
At home I help by cutting the vegetables; the stew is in charge of my parents. My dad is the one who takes care of assembling the hayaca as such, and then gives it to me to tie them; I am the one in charge of the mooring since I have agility in my hands for this task hehe
El mismo 31 de diciembre por la mañana salimos a comprar en casa lo que hacia falta para la ensalada y otras cosas, en el sitio donde fuimos a comprar las verduras nos sorprendieron regalándonos un saco de topochos maduros; mis hijas aman el topocho, así que, cuando llegue a casa estaban jugando y a lo que vieron esto estaban muy contentas y de inmediato me dijeron que les hiciera un pasticho con ellos. Nuevamente, me tocó salir a comprar el queso, jamón y huevo para preparárselos.
On the morning of December 31st, we went out to buy at home what we needed for salad and other things. At the place where we went to buy the vegetables they surprised us by giving us a sack of ripe molechos; My daughters love the mole, so when I got home they were playing and what they saw this they were very happy and immediately they told me to make a pasticho with them. Again, I had to go out to buy the cheese, ham and egg to prepare them.
Caída la tarde y ya instalada la noche... llegó la hora de arreglarnos para despedir el 2021, un año donde damos gracias a Dios por sus misericordias y cada bendición recibida.

Mis nenas estaban tan lindas 😍 ❤️ Mi hija mayor con esa braga que me gustó tanto (quiero una para mí así jiji) y mi chiquitita con ese vestidito blanco que la hacia lucir tan cuchi. Ambas estaban muy contentas y posando para las fotos, al igual que su mami 😍 ❤️
My girls were so pretty 😍 ❤️ My oldest daughter with that panties that I liked so much (I want one for me like that, hee) and my little girl with that little white dress that made her look so cute. They were both very happy and posing for the photos, as was their mommy 😍 ❤️
Les cuento que no esperamos hasta las 12:00 AM para cenar, me encontraba muy cansada y al siguiente día tendría actividad en la congregación a la que asisto; sumado a que también tenía mucha hambre jajaja Por lo que, cenamos tempranos, nos tomamos fotos y compartimos un rato con nuestro vestuario del 31 de diciembre, luego nos cambiamos las vestimentas por las pijamas, esperando que se acercaran las 12 de la noche para despedir el año con corazones llenos de gratitud, orando y declarando palabras proféticas de salud, amor, paz, abundancia, prosperidad, fortaleza, de restitución y retribución y muchas más. Dándonos luego ese fuerte abrazo y besos en familia.
I tell you that we did not wait until 12:00 AM to have dinner, I was very tired and the next day I would have activity in the congregation I attend; In addition to the fact that I was also very hungry hahaha So, we had an early dinner, took photos and shared a while with our dressing room on December 31, then we changed our clothes for pajamas, waiting for 12 at night to get close to say goodbye the year with hearts filled with gratitude, praying and declaring prophetic words of health, love, peace, abundance, prosperity, strength, of restitution and retribution and many more. Then giving us that strong hug and kisses as a family.
