Esta es la Tercera parte de mi visita a la Fundación Zoológico Santa Cruz. En esta ocasión compartiré las fotografías de todas los primates que pude capturar en el Zoológico Santa Cruz, en este sitio velan por la seguridad y la salud de los animales rescatados del trafico ilegal de Fauna.

This is the third part of my visit to the Santa Cruz Zoo Foundation. This time I will share the pictures of all the primates that I was able to capture at the Santa Cruz Zoo, in this place they watch over the safety and health of the animals rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking.

Antes de comenzar compartiendo las fotografías me gustaría aclarar que no me agrada mucho el hecho que encierren en jaulas a animales que deberían estar libres. Aunque me tranquiliza saber que los animales que viven en el zoológico Santa Cruz se han salvado de un final peor.

MONOS CAPUCHINOS

Este primate es muy social y es diurno. Su cuerpo es de color negro y su cabeza y coronilla tiene un color amarillento. Estos animales viven en manadas de alrededor de 20 individuos y el macho alfa es el único que puede reproducirse.
Son unos animales medianos, su altura puede llegar a 40 Cm y su longitud unos 115 Cm, su peso ronda entre 1.4 y 3.9 Kg. Se alimentan de frutas, insectos, huevos y lagartijas. Suele habitar diferentes bosques y selvas tropicales.

Este primate tiene unos largos colmillos, sus ojos son pequeños y su nariz es en dirección hacia abajo. No se pueden agarrar con su cola, su rostro, su trasero y parte de su cola no tiene pelo. Suelen vivir en grupos grandes y el macho alfa es muy agresivo.
Su peso suele estar entre 9.4 y 21.5 Kg, su altura en promedio es 58 Cm y su longitud de 130 Cm. Se alimentan de semillas, frutos, insectos y plantas. Viven en sabanas semiáridas, praderas de pasto y montañas, suelen estar cerca de fuente hídricas.

Este primate se encuentra en estado vulnerable de conservación. Su peso oscila entre 500 y 1100 gr, su altura puede llegar a los 21 Cm y su longitud 70 Cm. Ellos se alimentan de anfibios, semillas, insectos y cereales.

Este primate es diurno y le encanta estar trepado en los arboles, es muy inteligente y curioso, su cola parece otra extremidad ya que se pueden agarrar con ella. Tiene en cada lado de su frente dos mechones de pelo oscuro que parecieran cachos. Habitan en bosques húmedos, tropicales y terrestres.
Su peso pude estar entre 2.3 y 3.7 Kg, su altura promedio es de 35 Cm y su longitud 110 Cm. Estos primates se alimentan de huevos, semillas, reptiles e insectos.

Es un primate con cuerpo y extremidades largas, su pelaje es de color café y su cara es oscura. Viven en grupos de 30 individuos. Habitan selvas densas y bosques tropicales, les encanta estar a mas de 20 metros de altura. Se alimentan de frutas, insectos, hojas y plantas.

Se alimentan de frutos, insectos, frutas y pasto. Su peso oscila entre 6 y 9 Kg, su altura es de 60 Cm y su longitud es de 130 Cm.
