Esta es la segunda parte de mi visita a la Fundación Zoológico Santa Cruz. En esta ocasión compartiré las fotografías de todas las aves que vi en este maravilloso lugar, en este sitio velan por la seguridad y la salud de los animales rescatados del trafico ilegal de Fauna.

Antes de comenzar compartiendo las fotografías me gustaría aclarar que no me agrada mucho el hecho que encierren en jaulas a animales que deberían estar libres. Aunque me tranquiliza saber que los animales que viven en el zoológico Santa Cruz se han salvado de un final peor.

CISNE NEGRO

Estas aves tienen su plumaje color negro y su pico es anaranjado, es acuático y es algo sociable. Un dato curioso es que estos animales generan un vinculo de por vida con su pareja, sus hijos en ocasiones permanecen con ellos por toda la vida.
Pueden alcanzar un peso promedio de 6 - 9 Kg, su altura pueda alcanzar un promedio de 110 Cm de altura y 40 Cm de largo. Se alimentan de pasto, cereales, algas.
Suelen habitar sitios como los ríos y pantanos de agua dulce y salada, prefieren los hábitats con vegetación acuática. Son de origen Australiano.

Pueden pesar entre 300 y 500 g. Se alimentan de serpientes, anfibios, roedores y artrópodos. Se pueden encontrar entre México y Sudamérica, les gusta habitar lugares como áreas abiertas y pantanosas con árboles dispersos y en bosques húmedos.
