Hello hivers!
How's everyone? We have a new month today, so hello June! Days flies so fast and we're almost half of the year already. I can't believed the school break is waving. My eldest son will be on Grade 12, soon.
For todays blog I just wanna share how the seniors been so delighted with their special event. Last June 28,2023 at Mangagoy barangay gym, the event namely Hudyaka ni lolo at lola(it's bisaya dialect🤗). In English revelry of grandpa and grandma. It's absolutely a contest that makes them happy and a challenge also.
The senior citizens event....
Last Sunday is their big day. My nanay(mother) joined the dance contest along with our neighbors. They have a practice during afternoon. As a matter of fact nanay is our founder lol. So we can't deny the fact that we just learned because of her. Then my tatay is a great guitarist that we also inherit it. Thanks to my gifted parents for the unique talents that they had.

However I didn't know that it takes 25 entries for each category. Oh my god! My place is quite big lol. So from solo, duet and dance contest is 25 entries. I visit the gymnasium around 9am then the singing contest is started already. I tell nanay that I'll be back at 1pm.
They will have a lunch at the gym. Each tables have their pack lunch or they just cooked for themselves and bring it to the gym. Then my nanay just bring beef steak, it's her favorite. The whole venue makes me hungry because of the yummy foods they prepared.

Welcome our beloved barangay hall and gymnasium. It's simple but we have the best memories here when it comes to dance contest. The contest been held here, as always.

Upon entering the gym I've heared already the dance music so I run as fast as I could hahaha. Then bingo! It's my nanay's group! I'm so happy upon taking some photos and videos for them. Nanay really dance so well, so groovy. I really smiled while I'm watching her, it's been so long the last time I've seen nanay dancing in a floor.
Yesterday also I posted their video via Facebook messenger. I send it already to my siblings last Sunday. They are the one requested to me to visit nanay at the gym to take some videos and photos. They missed nanay. It's my 3 siblings that living at Davao and Manila.

Meet my nanay. The most beautiful woman in the world, for me😁. She's 73 years old last February. She's my fan and a super supportive to all my event at school. I'm totally grateful to have her as my mother because she treat us fair, were all 6 siblings.
Having a thoughtful,loving, generous, kind, humble and the best supportive mother is totally a gift for us. She raised us well even were so many. Thank you so much nanay for everything. Money can't pay to all the goodness you've shared to us. We're so lucky to have her as our mother.
So always remember, cherish everything as long as they are still alive. Love and respect your parents.
