Desde que supe que estaba embarazada quise hacer muchas cosas para mi hijo pero en ese entonces estaba muy ocupada con mis estudios, hasta que debido a un paro de la universidad al fin tuve tiempo pero mi embarazo estaba avanzado, sin embargo, a pesar de limitar un poco mis movimientos esto no me impidió poner mano a la obra, por lo que esta motocicleta la realicé cuando yo tenía 8 meses de embarazo.
When I discovered that I was pregnant, I wanted to make many stuffs for my son, but at that time I was very busy with my studies, until, due to a university strike, I finally had time, but my pregnancy advanced, despite this It didn't stop me from going to work, so I did this motorcycle when I was 8 months pregnant.
La misma esta tejida con crochet Nº 0, con estambre gris y negro, hilo para crochet rojo para el tanque y amarillo para el faro delantero, el hilo para crochet lo tejí con hebra doble para que fuera más grueso y resistente, usé relleno sintético de fibra antialérgica. El amigurumi con forma de motocicleta mide 20 cm de alto, 21cm de ancho y 5 cm de profundidad.
It is knitten with No. 0 crochet, with gray and black yarn, red crochet thread for the tank and yellow for the headlight, I crocheted it with double strand to make it thicker and more resistant, I used synthetic filler of antiallergic fiber. Siempre me han gustado las motocicletas de alta cilindrada sobre todo las del estilo chopper, por eso dentro de las posibilidades que me brinda el tejido a crochet, quise hacer los detalles sin perder la esencia de la motocicleta clásica, tejí por separado el motor en V, una particularidad de este tipo de motocicletas , las barras y basculantes bastantes largo, las horquilla con una inclinación gradual, el asiento muy por debajo de la altura de los manubrios y el tanque tiene una forma ovoide similar una gota.
I have always liked high-displacement motorcycles especially those of the chopper style, so within the possibilities that crochet gives me, I wanted to make the details without losing the essence of the classic motorcycle, I knitted the V-motor separately , a peculiarity of this type of motorcycle, the bars and swingarms quite long, the forks with a gradual inclination, the seat well below the height of the handlebars and the tank has an ovoid shape.
En aquel entonces no tenia como tomarle fotos al proceso, por lo que solo conservo fotos del resultado, sin embargo, las fotos que mas aprecio son las que les tomé a mi hijo cuando comencé a darle la motocicleta para jugar , en la primera él tenía tres meses de nacido y viste una franela con un estampado de motocicleta, la segunda la tomé cuando tenía tres años y él quiso posar abrazando a su moto, mi hijo pronto cumplirá cinco años y sigue jugando con la ella, la cual se conserva en muy buen estado a pesar de los juegos pesados de mi hijo y solo se observa el hilo un poco despeluzado, al ser tejida se puede lavar cuando esta sucia, esto da muestra de lo perdurable que son los amirugumis y la buena opción que son para regalar a niño o adulto.
Back then I had no way to take photos of the process, so I only keep photos of the result, however, the photos that I appreciate the most are the ones I took my son when I started giving him the motorcycle to play, in the first he had three months old and wears a motorcycle print T-shirt, the second I took when he was three years old and he wanted to pose hugging his motorcycle, my son will soon be five years old and continues to play with it, It is preserved in very good condition despite the heavy games of my son and the thread is only slightly furryed, being woven can be washed when dirty, this shows how durable amirugumis are and the good option they are to give to child or adult.
