¡Hola amigos!
Andrea

Hello friends!
After a long absence I have returned to Hive, with great encouragement and desire to continue growing.
This time to share a recipe I made to share with the family. Everything was so delicious that I wanted to share the recipe with you.
These are "Buffalo Wings", accompanied with Arturo's type salad and fried arepitas. For those who do not know, Arturo's is a fast food chain from here in my country where they sell a cabbage and carrot salad that, together with a special dressing, has captivated the hearts of all Venezuelans and that is why we always try to replicate the flavor at home.
I also made these fried arepitas that perfectly complement the dish with their crunchy texture.
Ingredients:
For the dressing of the wings we use:
Chicken wings
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons of sesame
One tablespoon of peanut butter
A little salt and sugar to even out the flavors.
For the salad we use:
Shredded cabbage and carrot
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 mustard
1 sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
For the arepitas:
Precooked yellow corn flour
Water
Salt
Preparation:
We take a large cup and add all the ingredients for the dressing of the wings. Mix with a spoon.
Preheat the oven to 180º
Season the chicken wings with half the sauce and bake for 10 minutes.
After this time, we take the wings out of the oven and with the other half of the dressing we bathe the wings again. We will repeat this process until completing 40 minutes of cooking.
Once the wings are ready, we keep them in the oven with the fire off while we prepare the companions.
We prepare the dressing for the cabbage and carrot salad. Add to a small cup mayonnaise, mustard, nutmeg, minced garlic, sugar and salt. We beat all the ingredients.
Add the dressing to the previously grated cabbage and carrot.
For the arepitas, place the precooked cornmeal with a little salt in a large container. Add water and mix by hand until dough forms.
We shape the arepitas and fry in abundant oil. When browning, remove them and place them on an absorbent paper.
We serve everything on a plate and enjoy.
I hope you liked the recipe and see you in a next post.
