Con el uso frecuente de las brochas de maquillaje, estas suelen ir acumulando residuos, que por más que uno las limpie y le pase toallas secas, se siguen conservando estas partículas en su interior.

With the frequent use of makeup brushes, they tend to accumulate residues, which no matter how much you clean them and wipe them with dry towels, these particles continue to be kept inside.

Considero que es importante tomarse el tiempo para hacer una limpieza a las mismas, que a su vez nos ayudan a obtener mejores resultados en el maquillaje, pues es posible que si estamos utilizando tonos claros, y anteriormente hicimos un maquillaje con tonos fuertes, arruinemos el resultado.

La frecuencia con la que debemos hacer esto es dependiendo del uso que tú le des. En mi caso solo las uso cuando voy a salir, por lo que las limpio eventualmente.

Ahora bien, te cuento la manera correcta de lavar las brochas de maquillaje, especialmente para que no las deformes al hacerlo.

Como primer paso se humedece una a una las brochas.

• As a first step, the brushes are moistened one by one.

Luego se pasa por jabón, lo suficiente hasta que salga por completo todo el maquillaje.

• Then it goes through soap, enough until all the makeup comes out completely.

Se retira el jabón con abundante agua.

• The soap is removed with plenty of water.

Como último paso, se secan con una toalla, preferiblemente de un color oscuro para evitar mancharla. Verificamos que haya salido toda la suciedad y si de lo contrario aún notamos residuos, repetimos todo nuevamente.

•As a last step, they are dried with a towel, preferably of a dark color to avoid staining it. We verify that all the dirt has come out and if otherwise we still notice residue, we repeat everything again.

Evita colocar la brocha de manera vertical al pasarla por el jabón o la toalla, ya que por esta razón pierden su forma y hasta pueden llegar a romperse.

Siempre hazlo en el sentido de la brocha, como si estuvieras dando pinceladas sobre el jabón y la toalla.
