Recap of this week's posts by D.Buzz
For the week ending on 8/21/2022 | Vol. 111

What's buzzing, friends?

If you're looking to learn a thing or two about someone, their birthplace is a great place to start. Just by knowing where someone was born, you can learn a lot about their culture, values, and even their personality. So the next time you meet someone new, be sure to ask them about their birthplace. You might just be surprised by what you learn.

Today, let's take a moment and talk about the remarkable story of Ed Porray, a Major League Baseball pitcher born on December 5, 1888... AT SEA!

he is the only Major League Baseball player to have been born at sea. His birth certificate lists "At sea, on the Atlantic Ocean" as his birthplace.

If you are born at sea, you are considered a citizen of the world! You can choose any country you want to be a citizen of, or you can even create your own country. The possibilities are endless! Lol, we are just kidding about that.

There is a phrase that translates the right of soil. The U.S and Canada recognize this and grant citizenship to the new baby if born on the open sea or a flight. While places such as Italy use the "Right of Blood", which means that long as your parents are from that country, you are part of it.

All very fascinating and exciting, to say the least. Do you know what else is fascinating and exciting? Give up? Just scroll down and read this week's updates to discover fascinating and exciting updates from DBuzz - no birth records are needed.

Ocean birth must be like this.
