Si me preguntas hoy cuál es el libro que todo el mundo debería leer, respondo sin dudar “El vendedor más grande del mundo” de Og Mandino (y digo hoy porque sé que el mundo está lleno de libros maravillosos de los cuales siquiera conozco su nombre).
¿Por qué? Es un libro que si te tomas en serio, es capaz de instalar nuevos hábitos en tu vida, y de los buenos claro (inclusive el de la lectura diaria). Es capaz de reemplazar viejas creencias con aquellas que son necesarias para alcanzar el éxito. Te programa de manera positiva, eleva tu merecimiento y tu creencia personal. Sí todo eso, créeme que no exagero. Por eso considero que debería ser parte esencial de nuestra mesita de luz.
If you ask me today what is the book that everyone should read, I answer without hesitation "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by Og Mandino (and I say today because I know the world is full of wonderful books of which I even know the name).
Why? It's a book that if you take seriously, is capable of installing new habits in your life, and of course good ones (including daily reading). It is capable of replacing old beliefs with those that are necessary to achieve success. It programs you in a positive way, elevates your deservedness and your personal belief. I know all that, believe me I am not exaggerating. That's why I believe it should be an essential part of our bedside table.
Si no te gusta leer te tengo una buena noticia, es un libro de pocas hojas, pero su contenido es de lo más poderoso que jamás haya leído. Sus palabras están tan bien elegidas, que realmente sientes que no hay relleno, que todo es valioso.
If you don't like to read I have good news for you, it is a book of few pages, but its content is one of the most powerful I have ever read. His words are so well chosen, that you really feel that there is no filler, that everything is valuable.

En el momento cero mi análisis fue superficial, si bien me lo recomendaron sin muchas explicaciones, lo tomé cuando me sentí motivada a aprender sobre ventas. Y aunque sí es aplicable para ser “el mejor vendedor del mundo” (valga la redundancia), su mensaje es mucho más profundo. Son 10 principios de éxito, pero también 10 leyes de vida.
No quisiera influirte e incitarte a que lo leas… pero este libro pasó a convertirse en uno de mis libros preferidos.

Los buenos hábitos van antes del éxito, no después. A menudo escucho decir a algunas personas: si yo tuviera el dinero de él también iría al gimasio todos los días. O si fuese famosa como ella también cuidaría mi aspecto. Como si los hábitos buenos fueran consecuencia del éxito, y no al revés.

Las frases son parte de un capítulo entero, no quisiera pecar y sacar de contexto su significado, por eso te recomiendo que lo leas completo.
Sin embargo creo que esta frase define su esencia. Actuar desde el amor para mí es clave. Claro que es mi forma de verlo, hay quienes creen que actuando desde el odio o la ventaja pueden conseguir el mismo resultado, o incluso uno mejor.

Si hay un principio que aplico desde el comienzo de mi búsqueda, es éste. Aún antes de leer el libro. Aunque la frase realmente me asombró.
Al final del día es cuando podemos recoger la cosecha, ¡no antes! En consecuencia para poder recoger algo, debemos haber sembrado ese mismo algo. Si quieres cosechar naranjas, siembra semillas de naranja no de limones.
Parece tan obvio, pero definitivamente no lo es. ¿Cuántas veces queremos tener ciertos resultados sin haber dedicado un máximo esfuerzo para conseguirlo, o bien aplicando un esfuerzo pero en la dirección equivocada? Qué pretenciosos somos a veces que no hacemos más que dañar nuestra autoestima con esta contradicción.
