Not ready for winter yet.

Yesterday we did this little art decor with my kid. Here is a story how and why we did it.

After school my daughter was trying to dress her doll (it’s cold outside) in all her clothes cause she was trying to be a caring mama. The doll’s arm came of because it was a bit loose and too much clothing was putting pressure on it.
The little mama got upset and started crying.

I decided to switch her attention to something else because I couldn’t fix the arm.

I went into our closet looked through kids art materials and found this cute fall themed truck.

Materials

The kid is busy and happy.
I gave her my acrylic paints and paint brushes.

I asked what colors does she want to use, and she chose: blue, red, orange, green, gray, and black.

I personally find any kind of art calming and satisfying. That’s why I offered my kid this activity when she was feeling unhappy. I think it worked out pretty well.

I feel so lucky to be able to stock up on arts & craft materials from a dollar store, it really helps us, especially during Thanksgiving time and winter break. So you’ll see more arts & crafts soon.
