DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NORMAL DREAM AND LUCID DREAM

We all know what dreaming is we often get dreams while we are asleep but almost all of us forget 99 % of what we dream about but lucid dream is a special type of dream in which you actually are aware that you are dreaming instead of normal dreaming where you kind of experience a series of event and then wake up and remember it the next morning but you are only left with a blur memory of the event that took place while you were dreaming and you didn't really have any awareness that it was a dream even if it seems to be real life you were kind of oblivious to the fact it was just a dream.

With a lucid dream on the other hand it is the complete opposite you are aware that it was a dream and when you are in the dream you actually know that you are dreaming and just because of that you actually get to control your dream so rather then any first person movie that you kind of go through during the night you actually getting to do what you like so i think it has a lot of potential i mean just think about it when you can be in a dream that you are alredy aware of that it is not true you can jump of a mountain and you will be fine without affecting your real body.

WHY WE EXPERIENCE LUCID DREAM ?

Lucid dreamig is a state of mind where you can push the limits on what can you do you can test out the thigs that you feel would not be comfortable doing in the real world. the only thing that you cannot do is going out of the level of your imagination. Anything that you can think of in your mind and make a mental picture of that is something that you can do while you are lucid dreaming.

WHEN AND HOW YOU EXPERIENCE THIS ?

You can only experience lucid dreaming during a special stage of sleep called REM or rapid eye moment sleep. In this sleep basically what happens is that we are very close to the waking alert state so the slightest will wake us up but it also means that our brain is functioning on a higher level we can process things logically we can do some kind of thinking in our brain as a result we are actually capable we are alert enough that we can actually be alert and aware in our dream and realize that we are dreaming.
