Nací en Maracaibo, una ciudad ubicada dentro del estado Zulia - Venezuela, al occidente del país, decir que es hermosa es sumamente poco, estamos ubicados a las orillas de un hermoso lago conocido como el Lago de Maracaibo, nuestro gentilicio es el Marabino, mejor conocido en el lenguaje coloquial o la jerga Maracaibera como LOS MARACUCHOS, hablamos de "vos", y donde quiera que llega un Maracucho se nota con tan solo hablar.
I was born in Maracaibo, a city located within the state of Zulia - Venezuela, to the west of the country, to say that it is beautiful is extremely little, we are located to the borders of a beautiful lake known like the Lake of Maracaibo, our gentilicio is the Marabino, better known in the colloquial language or the jargon Maracaibera like the MARACUCHOS, we spoke of "you", and wherever a Maracucho arrives it is noticed just by speaking.

Su nombre se debe a la larga y hermosa caminería que conecta con el Lago de Maracaibo y donde se puede apreciar el puente Rafael Urdaneta, así como las distintas embarcaciones que por él se desplazan.
Parque Vereda del Lago, is the largest park in the city of Maracaibo and became a place par excellence for the coexistence, integral development and social welfare of marabinos. Its name is due to the long and beautiful walkway that connects to Lake Maracaibo and where you can see the Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, as well as the various boats that travel on it.
