Llegó la Navidad y en Hive ¡también lo celebramos!. El Hive Creators Christmas (Caracas) fue un encuentro para celebrar entre hivers la época de Navidad, comernos un buen monchis escuchando gaitas de fondo, y ponernos al dia con los objetivos y planes para hacer crecer a Hive en nuestra ciudad capital, durante el próximo año 2023.
Christmas has arrived and at Hive we celebrate it too! The Hive Creators Christmas (Caracas) was a meeting to celebrate Christmas among hivers, eat a good meal, with christmas songs in the background, and catch up with the goals and plans to make Hive grow in our capital city, during next year 2023.
El Hive Creators Christmas se realizó el pasado 21 de Diciembre, día del espíritu de la navidad, tuvo lugar en ImproLounge, un local pequeño de dos pisos en la Ciudad de Caracas.
Esta fue mi primera visita al local y me parece que acertaron con esta locación para el evento, ya que al ser de carácter informativo, pero también una fiesta navideña entre Hivers, la comida y bebida son una parte esencial de la experiencia, y el establecimiento no solo contaba con ello, sino que además tenían sonido, luces, sillas, y un proyector para poder dar las charlas con la mayor comodidad posible.
Además de esto, tiene una ubicación estratégica en una zona muy transitada de la ciudad, frente a la Av.Francisco de Miranda, donde hay fácil acceso al metro, autobuses y taxis. Ya por ahí, ¡20 puntos a los organizadores!
The Hive Creators Christmas was held on December 21, the day of the spirit of Christmas, it took place in ImproLounge, a small two-story venue in the City of Caracas.
This was my first visit and I think they got it right with this location for the event, since being informative, but also a Christmas party among Hivers, food and drinks are an essential part of the experience, and the establishment not only had it, but also had sound, lights, chairs, and a projector to be able to give the talks with the greatest comfort.
In addition to this, it has a strategic location in a busy area of the city, in front of Av. Francisco de Miranda, where there is easy access to the subway, buses and taxis. A+ for the organizers!
El evento se dividió en charlas, muestras de talento, esparcimiento y compartir.

Al llegar al local @gabriellalpez2 y @madefrance me dieron la bienvenida, me otorgaron un identificador con mi user, y me regalaron varios stickers navideños que fueron ilustrados por @grisvisa.
El evento empezó al rededor de las 5pm, tomamos la foto grupal y luego de esto iniciaron las charlas, donde contamos con diversos speakers y temas a tratar:
- @ilazramusic definió que es el proyecto @hiveccs y mostró cuales son los planes que tienen para el próximo año (Road Map 2023).
- Seguido, @ylich explicó qué es ser un testigo y cuál es su rol en la blockchain. También habló sobre el poder voto, y como cada usuario puede servir a Hive aportando su granito de arena.
- @miriannalis habló sobre las comunidades y el entender que cada una forma parte de un todo, en pro de Hive.
- Por ultimo, @mundomanaure trató la importancia de la identidad y como esto aplica en los proyectos dentro de Hive.
The event was divided into talks, talent shows, recreation and sharing.
When I arrived at the venue, @gabriellalpez2 and @madefrance welcomed me, gave me an identifier with my username, and gave me several Christmas stickers that were illustrated by @grisvisa.
The event started around 5pm, we took the group photo and after this the talks began, where we had various speakers and topics to discuss:
- @ilazramusic defined what the @hiveccs project is and showed what their plans are for next year (Road Map 2023).
- Next, @ylich explained what it is to be a witness and what is their role in the blockchain. He also talked about voting power, and how each user can serve Hive by contributing their bit.
- @miriannalis talked about communities and understanding that each one is part of a whole, for the benefit of Hive.
- Finally, @mundomanaure discussed the importance of identity and how this applies to Hive projects.
Ademas de las charlas también contamos con talento y performance, cortesía de:
- @dimeshana, quién hizo una hermosa presentación de danza contemporánea. Era la primera vez que veía a Shana bailar en vivo, y me encantó su performance.
- @orimusic y @nahupuku, quienes nos regalaron una música sanadora de limpieza, hecha con instrumentos autóctonos como tambor, flauta de palo y maracas. Una presentación que transporto a mas de uno a la Gran Sabana.
In addition to the talks, we also have talent and performance, courtesy of:
@dimeshana, who did a beautiful contemporary dance presentation. It was the first time I had seen Shana dance live, and I loved her performance.
@orimusic and @nahupuku, who gave us healing cleansing music, made with native instruments such as drums, wooden flutes, and maracas. A presentation that transported more than one to the Gran Sabana.
Por ultimo, mi parte favorita, ¡la comida! Primero hicimos un brindis en nombre de Hive, y luego comimos todos juntos hamburguesas con refresco. Fue un buen rato.
Eventos como el Hive Creators Christmas son espacios que nos permiten conectar mucho más como comunidad, compartir más allá de la pantalla, es algo que contribuye a que las relaciones de trabajo y amistad entre hivers se afiancen, y que la energía y empeño que le ponemos a nuestra cadena se multiplique.
Gracias a los que hicieron este evento posible con cada grano de arena, no puedo esperar por el siguiente evento, de verdad la pasé genial. ¡Buenas vibras para todos!

Lastly, my favorite part, the food! First we made a toast to Hive, and then we all ate hamburgers and soda together. It was a good time.
Events such as Hive Creators Christmas are spaces that allow us to connect much more as a community, share beyond the screen, it is something that contributes to strengthening work relationships and friendship between hivers, and that the energy and effort that we put into our blockchain is multiplied
