Mi actual pasión//My current passion[ESP-ENG]

Greetings dear friends of this beautiful community, here again to participate in the initiative of the week proposed by the friend @angelica7, which is about identifying our passions, those things that attract us to perform or do and in other cases keep or collect, if there are really many things that can arouse the passion in people, sometimes they can be unimaginable, but that is precisely what defines the different types of individuals and their cultures.

I remember that at one time one of my passions was to go to the beaches of the island of Margarita and the truth at least four times a year, in carnivals, Easter, school vacations and in December, that was fixed, go by car to Puerto La Cruz, and the trip was short, because going without a car to Margarita the truth that I did not even imagine, and there take the ferry, at least at that time, so that allowed me to know a lot of Margarita Island, a few years ago.

Saludos estimados amigos de esta hermosa comunidad, por acá nuevamente para participar en la iniciativa de la semana propuesta por la amiga @angelica7, que se trata sobre la identificación de nuestras pasiones, esas cosas que nos atraen realizar o hacer y en otros casos conservar o coleccionar, si realmente son muchas cosas las que pueden despertar el apasionamiento en las personas, a veces pueden resultar inimaginables, pero eso precisamente es lo que define los diferentes tipos de individuos y sus culturas.

Recuerdo que en una época una de mis pasiones era ir a las playas de la isla de Margarita y la verdad por lo menos iba cuatro veces al año, en carnavales, Semana Santa, vacaciones escolares y en diciembre, eso era fijo, irnos en carro hasta Puerto La Cruz, ya se me hacía corto el viaje, porque ir sin carro para Margarita la verdad que ni siquiera me lo imaginaba, y allí tomar el Ferry, por lo menos en aquella época, por lo cual eso me permitió conocer bastante a la Isla de Margarita, unos años atrás.

For example, when I was actively working, one of my great passions was to prepare myself to the maximum in my area of competence as a university teacher, for which I made all the necessary sacrifices in order to achieve what I proposed in that aspect, such as postgraduate studies.

Nowadays, with a calmer life and now with my grandchildren and granddaughters, my passion is to sew very nice things for them, and also to make dolls and other types of toys, which I weave them with the amigurumi technique, and I have already made several of them, especially for the girls.

Por lo cual dependiendo el momento en que vivimos podemos aflorar nuestras pasiones, por ejemplo, cuando estaba activa trabajando, unas de mis grandes pasiones fue prepararme hasta el máximo en mi área de competencia como docente universitaria, por lo cual realizaba todos los sacrificios necesarios con tal de realizar lo que me proponía en ese aspecto, como eran los postgrados.

En la actualidad, con una vida más calmada y ahora con mis nietos y nietas, pues actualmente mi pasión es coserles cosas muy lindas a ellos, y también realizarle muñecas y otros tipos de juguetes, que se los tejo con la técnica del amigurumi, que la verdad ya les he realizado varios sobre todo a las niñas.

In the case of my oldest granddaughter who already has her preferences in terms of colors and styles of dresses, well when we talk on the phone she is always asking me for things, and of course I am delighted to make them, but as logically they are not in the country I take every opportunity I have to send them.

En el caso de mi nieta más grande que ya tiene sus preferencias en cuanto a colores y estilos de vestidos, pues cuando hablamos por teléfono siempre me está encargando cosas, y yo por supuesto encantada de realizárselos, pero como lógicamente no están en el país aprovecho cualquier oportunidad que tengo para enviárselos.

Cuando es el caso que ellos vienen para el país, lo que hago es que les instruyo para que me les tomen algunas medidas de tal forma que cuando vengan ya se los he realizado y de esa manera puedo compartir más con ellos, porque si no me quita tiempo de compartir, al menos que sea algo que vaya a realizar muy rápido como fue el caso de una de mis nietas que cuando llegaron le hacía falta un traje de baño y como eso es de realizar muy rápido, pues le hice dos.

I tell you that my oldest granddaughter loves the color red and long sleeve dresses and some time ago she asked me to make her a red dress with long sleeves, when I had the opportunity that a relative was going to travel to their place, I took the opportunity to make it and I sent it to her as a surprise because I did not tell them that I had made the dress and I was going to send it to the uncle who was going to send it there, Well, that little girl when they started to unpack and realized that it was a red dress as she wanted it, that little girl dropped everything she had in her hand and immediately asked for help to put it on, so all these things are what make me very happy and that is why I love to make them, for my grandchildren, thanks to the videos they make and then send them to me so I can see what their reaction is, I love it!

Les cuento que mi nieta más grandecita le gusta mucho el color rojo y los vestidos manga larga y hace un tiempo me tenía ese pedido que le hiciera un vestido rojo mangas largas, cuando estuve la oportunidad que un familiar iba a viajar para donde ellos, aproveche y se lo realice y se lo envié de sorpresa porque no les dije nada que le había hecho el vestido y se lo iba a enviar con el tío que iba para allá, pues esa niña cuando empezaron a desempacar y se dio cuenta de que era un vestido rojo como ella lo quería, esa niña soltó todo lo que tenía en la mano y enseguida pidió que se lo ayudaran a poner, entonces todas estas cosas son las que me hacen muy feliz por lo cual me apasionan realizarlas, para mis nietos y nietas, gracias a los videos que realizan y luego me los envían para que me dé cuenta cuál es su reacción, ¡me encanta!
