Mercedes y Henry hicieron lo suyo cautivando a todos los niños y a adultos también, quienes no dudaron en corear las canciones, imitar los movimientos de los cuentacuentos y reir sin parar durante todo el evento. Conversando con Mercedes y Henry desubrí que se llevaron una gran sorpresa, porque ellos sabían que trabajarían con niños, pero no con niños de preescolar y, aunque ellos tienen experiencia trabajando en escuelas, eso los obligó a cambiar el repertorio y adaptarlo a las edad de los niños de ese día, pero, aqui entre tú y yo, si ellos no lo dicen, nadie se da cuenta, porque el resultado fue, maravilloso.
Una de las cosas que más emocionaron de esta actividad fue ver la carita sonriente de los niños, lo cual me desmostró que todos se divirtieron y se cumplió el objetivo de alejarlos de laa pantallas, aunque sea sólo por unas horas. Pero, no crean que sólo los niños se divirtieron, también los maestras, quienes no duudaron en solicitar más actividades como esas para llevarlas a la institución, lo cual, confirma lo que desde hace vengo diciendo: a todos nos gustan los cuentos y si es muy bien contada, mucho más.
Dicho esto, quiero terminar esta publicación señalando que, además de disfrutarlas, me encanta compartirlas, porque es una forma de promocionar este tipo de escenarios e informar a mis lectores de los diferentes eventos que se desarrollan en la ciudad. Cumaná tiene mucho talento, Cumaná cuenta historias en cada calle, es el seno de joroperos, artistas plásticos, escritores y cultores que tienen mucho que aportar a todos los que hacemos vida en este terruño, lo bueno es que contamos con el Museo del Mar y el Centro de Estudios Caribeños de la Universidad de Oriente para seguir haciendo estos proyectos.
