When we visit any city in the world we always look at how beautiful, shinning and glittering all them tall skyscrapers lighting up the streets of the city making it look like everything is in order and Bangkok city being one of the world's greatest cities isn't doing to bad with a population of 16 million people the nightclubs, rooftop bars, cocktail lounges, restaurants, night markets are always looking lively, it's always a buzz to be in this great city like no other city in the world all this and you are amongst the friendliest people on this earth.
But like most cities we only see the the glamorous parts of the city as we all know every city in the world has a shantytown and it's not till you get of the beaten tracks out of the tourist areas that you will come across some of these shantytowns in Bangkok and it's what I did I wanted to see how the other part of Bangkok people were living and believe me it wasn't nice I could see the frustration on these people's faces living in these conditions mostly unemployed and no help from the government which often turns into drug addictions and crime but yet while I was walking around in these slum areas most of them still had a friendly smile despite the hardship they were going through.
I was walking through one particular slum area in the early morning it looked like a run down village but yet you could see the kids dressed in there clean white shirts going of to school hopping that one day, if they are strong and brave enough they will become someone and surprisingly enough you do see a lot of these slum kids come out on top because they are ambitious to make a better life for themselves, there parents, sisters and brothers these are determined people who can still hold a happy face with a smile amazing courage.
