Making my hair in section before washing helps for easy washing and detangling.

Cornrows are my go-to protective hairstyle and I can do them myself.

Hello friends! This is my first time posting in this community, and I'm excited to share my hair growth transformation along with some of the protective styles I do on my natural hair. They say a woman's beauty is her crown (hair), and I couldn't agree more. I began growing my hair during the COVID-19 lockdown when I was almost done with high school. In my house, there's an unwritten code: you don't make significant changes to your hair until you're done or almost done with high school, that means you have to keep barbing till you're done with high school or you're in your senior year of high school. Funny, right?
Anyways, I hope you enjoy those pictures.
