Hello dear friends, today I came to the conclusion that swimming is an art, to do it well you need balance, endurance, concentration, patience and courage. Those I mentioned are qualities that a swimmer must have. I have tried to learn to swim, but I think I fail in the last one, I lack a lot of courage.

On one occasion I went to the beach with family and friends and the sea that day was very rough, although we were on the shore, it dragged me and 8 other people, all part of my family and friends. The lifeguards came out to rescue us and none of the 8 of us lost our lives, but we were on the verge of losing our lives. It took hours to breathe properly again.

Since that day I am afraid to swim, I am terrified of the sea and submerging makes me feel anxious. However, I am taking my son to early stimulation classes and it is in the water, so he is slowly learning to swim. Seeing how little by little he is having each of the qualities required to be a good swimmer makes me happy. Little by little I am overcoming my fear of swimming. My son inspired me and encourages me, so at some point I will be able to do it. Always with those beautiful and sweet words that strengthen me "you can do it mommy".
